Learn Dutch, B1 โ†’ C1

Everyone tells you the same thing: just practice talking. But talking doesn't hand you the contextual words, the everyday phrases, the metaphors that actually let you integrate โ€” and apps like Duolingo teach you plenty of vocabulary while leaving most of it stranded, disconnected from the Dutch you actually see and hear each day. That's the gap: you learn words in one place and live your life in another, and the two never quite meet.

Klets closes that gap. It turns the words you run into in real life โ€” with friends, at the shop, on the street โ€” into your own little flashcards, so what you study is exactly what you're already surrounded by.

A mobile app built with Expo (React Native) and TypeScript. It's local-first for now โ€” words, scenarios, grammar, and progress all live on the device while I work out Supabase-backed sync.
